VIDEO OF THE DAY: Smif-N-Wessun & Pete Rock_That’s Hard (feat. Styles P & Sean Price)
Smif-n-Wessun and Pete Rock's album Monumental is available now. To celebrate the release a party which took place at Tammany Hall, was apparently winding down when the NYPD pulled the plug and told the entire crowd to disperse immediately. As confused fans filed outside in near panic, the NYPD began roughing people up, creating a full-blown riot situation that even included false reports of Pete Rock's wife being bludgeoned. Nonetheless, this is some gruesome shit that has to be seen. Watch the video.

Though most remember Charles in the Phoenix Suns colors, there was a point in time when the commentator played for the 76ers. Nike is paying tribute to the baller with a few special editions of the Nike Air Max Barkley. Here we see the shoe in a Philadelphia 76ers colorway, with the majority of the upper dressed in white, and the independence red and blue popping up as an accent on the front midsole, tongue, and ankle tab. Officially, they are labeled as White/Old Royal/Gym Red/White, and should be hitting retail in spring 2012 for around $130

TAKING U BACK:
Taking U Back to MURDER WAS THE CASE a long-form video (or more accurately, a short film) which goes along with Snoop's eponymous song "Murder Was the Case". Directed by Dr. Dre, it conjures up resonant images of life on the street and as a young gangsta. Also included is the director's cut version of Dr. Dre and Ice Cube's "Natural Born Killaz" as well as three other uncensored music videos from Snoop ("Gin & Juice," "Who Am I (What's My Name)," and "Doggy Dogg World").

CLASSIC KICKS: Air Jordan 1 “Banned” At Select Retailers
It looks like the Air Jordan 1 Banned no longer needs a release date. The sneaker has snuck onto shelves at select Nike Outlet stores to the surprise of several customers. So far the shoes have been spotted at the outlets in Portland and Chicago and seem to be making their way to more stores. This is a pretty sneaky way to release a shoe but apparently its kept everyone on their toes. If you want your pair we’d suggest you begin the hunt now.
