DEEPLY ROOTED POEM:

RWANDA IN AMERICA
Same struggle different days
Us blacks ain’t ever change in our ways
We still fight for what ours
Never was a race of cowards
The only difference is we now war with each other
Rather shoot a mutha fucka
Than show Love to a brother
Killing over territory that we don’t own
On the 5 o’clock news another black man blown
By a 4’4 in the hands of another black man
A nigga done kicked in the back door
Evidence shows it was over yae yo
The dope game ain’t nothing but a trap
Government floods dope on every black community on the map
Whitey controls the game and we play
Passing it down to the younger generation like a relay
Not preaching
Just speaking
Letting my people know we need to wake up and realize
It’s all Genocide
